Her partner's odd accessory is certainly eye-catching, but it is almost impossible to notice anything other than Angelina Jolie.
The stunning 36-year-old star stole the spotlight away from Brad Pitt at tonight's New York Film Critics Circle Awards, though he was actually nominated for an award.
The In The Land of Milk & Honey director wowed in a tight-fitting leather skirt which managed to make her look both slim and elegant.
Hell for leather: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt arrive at the Critic's Choice Awards at Crimson in NYC tonight
She paired the ferocious piece with a simple white silk shirt, classic black heels and a chic black clutch.
Her only concessions to colour were the emeralds that shimmered at her throat and her ears.
The actress arrived hand-in-hand with the 48-year-old Pitt, who looked rather dapper himself in a two-piece blue suit, white shirt and black tie.

His accessory of a cane was far less glamorous than Angelina's gorgeous gemstones, though far more necessary.
He is said to be recovering from a torn medial collateral ligament, an injury obtained by falling over on a ski slope last week.
He broke out the cane over the weekend at the 23rd Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala.
He was honoured at the ceremony with the Desert Palm Achievement Award which noted his acting skills in Moneyball and The Tree of Life.
Perhaps winning another award tonight will lessen the pain of his injury.
