Here comes young Hollywood! Vanessa Hudgens and Demi Lovato don slinky  gowns as they lead the glamour at People's Choice Awards

They have found fame as Disney starlets but last night Vanessa Hudgens and Demi Lovato proved they have come of age.
The pair stepped out onto the red carpet at the People's Choice Awards tonight looking every inch Hollywood royalty.
Vanessa, 23, looked stunning in a gorgeous webbed style black Jenny Packham dress with a plunging neckline and backless detail.

Making an entrance: Demi's designer dress boasted an impressive train which made her entrance onto the red carpet even more dramatic

The black dress added extra glamour with gold spiderweb detail and a flowing train.
The former High School Musical star teamed the dress with gold drop earrings and a Judith Leiber bag.

While Vanessa has appeared inseparable from her boyfriend Austin Butler in recent weeks, she appeared to have left him at home, choosing to walk the red carpet at LA Live alone.
Former Disney star Demi Lovato looked equally stunning in a peach coloured dress by Marchesa which showed off her curves to perfection.

The low cut ensemble boasted beaded detail around the bodice a figure hugging skirt as well as s sheer elegant train.
Demi teamed the dramatic dress, which showed off her womanly figure, with a hard glittering clutch and gold peep-toe heels.

Adding extra glamour to the ensemble the actress had her hair teased upwards leaving plenty of flesh on show.
Demi and Vanessa weren't the only former Disney stars to be making an entrance on the red carpet and Miley Cyrus stepped out with an attractive accessory.

Miley showed off slim figure in a cream David Koma which nipped in at her tiny waist and boasted a sheer panel down the front to show off her curves.
The knee-length ensemble looked incredible chic on the young star and her boyfriend complemented her stylish with his dapper dark grey suit.
Footless star Julianne Hough certainly looked fancy free stepping out in a stunning in a blackless golden number.

It proved somewhat of a family affair on the red carpet as Sharon and Kelly Obsourne posed up together.

Sister Sister stars Tia and Tamera Mowry also showed up to the awards ceremony with Tia dressed in an elegant grey satin gown while Tamera kept things simple in black.
An absentee Perry was honoured in five categories, including favourite female artist, tour headliner, song of the year for ET with Kanye West, music video for Last Friday Night and TV guest star for How I Met Your Mother.
Despite originally being touted by the show's organisers as among the nominees expected to attend, the singer-actress told fans on Twitter earlier this week that she would not make it to the show, but she added: "I want to thank u all for voting for me, fingers crossed!"

Miley and Liam weren't the only happy couple of the night and Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka and David Boreanaz and Jaime Bergman were all smiles as they headed into the awards ceremony.
