She has rightly cemented her title as Queen of Pop after a highly successful 30-year pop career dominating the charts.
But last night, Madonna came face-to-face with proper royalty as she invited Princess Beatrice to the after-party of the London premiere of her new film.
The young royal was snapped leaving a venue in the city having attended the dinner and bash to celebrate the pop star's debut as a film director.

Dressed in a short black dress and leather jacket, she looked like she'd had a great night as she got into a cab with a friend and headed home.

Beatrice was among many famous faces at the bash, which took place at the Arts Club in Mayfair.
It was to celebrate Madonna's directorial debut after the premiere of her film W.E. at the Odeon cinema in Kensington.

The film, which has so far received relatively bad reviews, follows a two-tiered romantic drama focusing on the affair between King Edward VIII and American divorcée Wallis Simpson, alongside a contemporary romance between a married woman and a Russian security guard.
It stars Andrea Riseborough, James D'Arcy, Richard Coyle and Natalie Dormer, who all attended the premiere and the after-party.
And the party was also attended by rapper Kanye West who was seen leaving with model Sasha Volkova at the end of the night.

And Madonna herself was on fine form after a very successful evening for the pop star turned director.
She also looked sensational in all-black ensemble, a delicate lace cloak, heavy velvet gown and towering red heels.
Andrea, 30, who plays Wallis Simpson in the movie, looked gorgeous in a wine-coloured satin and chiffon dress as she arrived at the party with a male companion.

Richard Coyle, who also stars in the film, was also at the bash and arrived with girlfriend Ruth Bradley who wore a rust-coloured Zoe Jordan dress and he looked smart in a royal blue suit, an apt colour to wear for the evening's festivities.
Madonna said she was nervous on set and how the film would be received as she made the transition from music to film.
Speaking at the premiere, she said: 'I was so nervous yes, I just saw all these big burly crew guys looking at me and I thought, "Oh God, now I have to win their respect" and yeah I was super nervous.'

But her cast were full of praise for their boos, with James D'Arcy, who plays King Edward VIII saying: 'She was lovely, she was really sweet, she had a very very clear vision, very passionately put across to us and she was a good laugh while she did it.'
The film is released in the UK on Friday January 20.
