Ever since Stella McCartney sent a range of polka-dot designs down the catwalk at her Paris show in March, celebrities have been clambering to wear the dresses.
Kate Winslet, Jane Fonda, Livia Firth and Susan Sarandon have all slipped into the same sheer cut-out creation in recent months.
And now Amy Childs, 21, has tried out the trend - but true to form, the reality star ensured her hemline was a good 14 inches shorter than the original design.
Dotty for Amy: Former The Only Way is Essex star Amy Childs stepped out today in a polka dot dress
Amy's frock, which bears a striking resemblance to McCartney's creation, is from the former TOWIE star's own clothing range.
The redhead reality star wore her version to the ITV studios today to appear on This Morning.
But while McCartney's Winter 2011 design features a below-the-knee hemline, Childs' version reaches just beyond her bottom.
Look familiar? Amy's frock, from her own clothing range, bears a striking resemblance to Stella McCartney's design, worn here in March by Kate Winslet
Another contrast is the price: While McCartney's coveted design retails for £1,285, fans can purchase Childs' version for just £65.
Other than that, the Essex-born beautician's frock features very similar sheer cut-out panels with polka dot print and solid black material cut to cover her modesty.
Amy added a silver necklace and bracelet and stockings to the look.
She appeared on the morning programme to promote her new Channel Five series It's All About Amy, which she likened to The Osbournes.
Spot the difference: Of course, Childs put an Essex-spin on her version, with a much shorter hemline
'I'm so family orientated,' she said. 'My mums the new star of the show! We've got dogs running around.. Is it like The Osbournes? Well that's what people are saying! But there's no swearing in it!'
Speaking to hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, Amy said of the show's premiere: 'I'm nervous, but I cannot wait. I'm just so nervous about people watching it.
'I'm loving it because you will get to see the real Amy Childs but I'm nervous you know - I watch it and think "well is it interesting?"... I dunno because I just see it as me.'
'We're like The Osbournes': Amy appeared on This Morning to promote her series It's All About Amy, which her family features in
Asked about living with the constant presence of cameras she said: 'I love it now, but obviously when you get a bit older and have children it'll be much harder but at the time being I love doing it, I'm loving life. I'm living the dream!'
Amy revealed that she has spent her newly-earned money on a luxury vehicle. 'I've bought myself a new car - a white Land Rover! But it's covered in fake tan! I am from Essex!'
Talking about her old co-star Mark on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, Amy said: I think he's doing so well - he's going to win! Mark in the jungle is the Mark I know, he's lovely.'
It's All About Amy premieres on Channel Five tonight at 10pm.
Price tag: While the coveted original retails for £1,285, Childs 'dotty dress' is on sale for just £65
