Like mother, like son! Alicia Keys and her little cutie Egypt wear matching shoes to the basketball

As well as her red-carpet glamour Alicia Keys is known for her sleek streetwear style.

And it seems that her son Egypt Dean is following in his mother's fashionable footsteps.

The 30-year-old singer and her 14-month-old cutie wore near matching trainers as they attended the New York Knicks game at Madison Square Gardens yesterday.

Along with her husband Swizz Beatz, real name Kasseem Dean, the Grammy Award winning artist was there to celebrate Christmas and the end of the NBA lockout with her family.

While Eygpt had a navy pair of Velcro shoes on his tiny feet, Alicia had slipped on a pair of $700 US wedge trainers from French designer Isabel Marant, in a similar style.

She paired the look with fur-trimmed leather jacket, while her adorable tot sported an orange vest in honor of his home-team who beat the Boston Celtics by two points.

Alicia and Swizz beamed with pride as their son cheered from the sidelines of the court seemingly unfazed by the noise and bright lights.
Egypt looked tired as the game went on but was happy to hang out on his mum and dad's laps as the home team went on to victory.

The power couple have been enjoying a break from their busy schedules over the holiday season.
The Fallin' singer has been urging her fans to go see the Broadway play Stick Fly, for which she serves as a producer and composer of original music for the show.
Meanwhile Swizz, also a Grammy award winning rapper and producer, recently acted as creative director on the brand new special-edition Evora GTE by Lotus, a $150,000 car.
