But before they were famous, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato were just young girls with big dreams of breaking into the showbiz scene.
In unearthed video clips, the trio are all seen auditioning for the Disney roles that turned them into household names.
In her first audition tape, Miley, who is now 19, is seen at the tender age of 12.

Confident, the brunette perfectly delivers her lines perfectly in a strong Southern drawl.
For a second audition in front of casting directors, Miley wears a fun printed t-shirt and has her hair perfectly coiffed.

'Hey, I am Miley Cyrus and I am 12-years-old,' she introduces herself.
As she reads her scene, she manages to raise several laughs from the crowd.
In a third audition tape, Miley reads with her father Billy Ray Cyrus, who went on to become her on-screen dad on the show.
The father and daughter duo are seen doing a special secret handshake in their scene before sharing a cuddle.
The pair also do a musical number, singing a duet while Billy plays an acoustic guitar.

In her fourth and final audition tape, Miley is asked questions by her casting director before turning it into an improv session.
Despite her near flawless tests for the show, surprisingly Miley was told she was too young and too small for the part.
However, after much perseverance and an incredible singing skill, producers of the show continued to ask her back.

Miley ended up getting the lead part and producers changed the character's name to Miley Stewart.
In her own audition tape, Selena Gomez is seen trying out for another Disney TV show, Wizards Of Waverly.
With her dark brunette locks swept back, the adorable 12-year-old reads scenes about suffering from a toothache.
Her audition clearly proved to be a success, as Selena, also now 19, went on to be cast as one of the show's three main characters, Alex Russo, in 2007.

With super straight dark hair, a perfect complexion and precisely groomed eyebrows, fresh-faced Demi Lovato showed that she had the perfect amount of innocence and allure to do teen comedy in her audition tape for Sonny With A Chance.
Dressed in a sophisticated blue dress, Demi, now also 19, gives an effervescence performance.
Demi auditioned for the series in the summer of 2007.
She also read lines for the Disney Channel television film Camp Rock the same day, and ended up getting both parts.
Fast forward to 2011, these days Demi is still throwing herself into work on the stage and screen but after some recent tough times.
Demi had a stint in a treatment centre last year in order to deal with body image and personal issues.

A year has, however, passed since she admitted herself to rehab - and recently Demi opened up to Latina Magazine about her life-changing decision:
'I thought I was going to lose everything when I checked myself into treatment. ... I didn't know if I would have a career at all when I came home,' she said.
'I can honestly say I'm glad I hit rock bottom when I did. ... I see a lot of young people in this industry who feel entitled because they haven't hit rock bottom yet. I feel blessed when I get an opportunity now.'
But it wasn't the singer's idea from the get-go. She went on to explain: 'It was influenced by management, publicists and family.

'But they were all bringing up a good point: What teens need most is someone they can relate to — someone they connect with on serious subjects like eating disorders, cutting, bipolar disorder, depression and bullying...
'Why wouldn't I be honest about it so I could help someone else?'
Similarly Miley has come under considerable controversy since her big break into the entertainment scene.
In 2008, provocative images of the singer emerged on the internet after a teenager hacked into her email account.
Then, in 2010, a video of Cyrus leaked onto the internet where she was seen at the age of 16 giving movie producer Adam Shankman a lap dance.
In the same year, more footage emerged, this time where Miley was seen smoking what she said was the psychoactive plant salvia.
Success: She also read lines for the Disney Channel television film Camp Rock the same day and ended up getting both parts
Despite the substance being legal in California and the teen being at the legal age to smoke it, it created an uproar.
And just last week, Miley once again came under fire after she called herself a 'stoner' and a 'pothead' as she was presented with a Bob Marley cake at her birthday party.
Caught on camera, Miley appeared to admit that she was a heavy marijuana user.
Video footage showed Miley saying: 'You know you're a stoner when your friends make you a Bob Marley cake,' the former Disney starlet said in video obtained by The Daily. 'You know you smoke way too much f**king weed!'
My have they grown! Miley, Demi and Selena, seen here left to right on the red-carpet, are all now 19-years-old
Fashion Police host and friend Kelly Osbourne is seen responding to Miley's comments by laughing, 'I thought salvia was your problem!'
Since the story emerged, Miley's representation has said that it was a joke: 'It's all been taken out of context. The cake was a joke and Miley's response was intended to be sarcastic.'
Selena, meanwhile, has managed to avoid any controversy during her rise to fame, however her boyfriend, Justin Bieber, recently made headlines after a fan by the name of Mariah Yeater claimed that he was the father of her baby.
Bieber recently took a paternity test and is now awaiting the results.
