She was the young fan favourite on last year's X Factor who, despite not winning, already has a number one single under her belt.
So Cher Lloyd would have some valuable words of advice for another rising star, X Factor USA teen Rachel Crow.
Miss Lloyd, 18, arrived in LA on Sunday night, and one of her first ports of call was the X Factor USA studios.

She posed for a picture on the lot with 13-year-old Crow, who's too-cute demeanour and powerful voice have seen her through to the final seven on the series.
Cher wore a white and black shirt dress with a yellow belt and oversize sunglasses for her tour of the set.
The singer's style has become noticeably more classic and understated in recent months while she promotes her last single With Ur Love.
Girl power: The singer also chatted to Drew, 14, another of Simon Cowell's acts
Cher told fans on Twitter: 'Had a tour of X factor studios at CBS in LA, looks exactly the same as the UK one! Great to see Simon.'
The Swagger Jagger singer also met another of Cowell's contestants, 14-year-old Drew Ryniewicz.
Before jetting out to the US, Cher performed at BRMB Live in Birmingham alongside Pixie Lott and JLS.

Rising star: Rachel dazzled the judges on the X Factor USA last week
Rachel's latest performance on last week's X Factor brought the audience to tears as she dedicated her performance of Yolanda Adams' I Believe to the foster family who adopted her at a young age and saved her from living in a crack house.
The judges labelled the youngster an 'angel, inspiration and bright light' following the performance.
It emerged earlier this month that Crow was born a crack baby and spent time in a crack house as an infant, suffering abuse, before she was adopted.
