It was an evening where, for once, she was not supposed to be taking all the limelight.
But Lady Gaga still managed to grab her share of attention at tonight's International Emmy Awards where she presented Nigel Lythgoe with the special Founders Award.
The 28-year-old singer arrived wearing a typically unusual gown featuring a split running from waist to calf, with provided onlookers with a glimpse of her underwear.

Introducing Lythgoe as her 'favourite producer,' Gaga told the audience that the 62-year-old 'always helped to nurture and foster my crazy ideas, no matter how demographically unfriendly they were.'
The singer has made a number of appearances on Lythgoe's shows in the past few years.
