'It's Tony Bennett why am I naked?' Lady Gaga reveals the bizarre moment she stripped off so veteran singer could sketch her nude

He claims she is America’s answer to Picasso.
But it was Tony Bennett who was became the artist when he completed a nude sketch of Lady Gaga
The 25-year-old singer revealed that Bennett had captured her naked form in her Thanksgiving Christmas TV special.

Speaking about the experience during the CBS special she explained: ‘I walked in and said “Well Tony here we are,” and I dropped my robe and I got into position. I felt shy and thought “It’s Tony Bennett, why am I naked?”’
The pictures of what he drew will be seen in Vanity Fair magazine next year and Annie Leibovitz organised the event.
To open the Thanksgiving show Lady Gaga was seen performing The Lady Is A Tramp with the veteran singer.

It was not until the end of special during an interview with Katie Couric that Lady Gaga revealed she had stripped off for Bennett.
It seems that the pair share a special relationship and Gaga gushed: ‘Oh tony he’s so handsome I feel terrible whenever his wife is around because he is so charming and such a gentleman.’

And it appears the adoration is reciprocated with Tony telling viewers:
‘She is the most beautiful person I ever met but there is something very special about her.’
Bennett also said that she was ‘America’s answer to Picasso’, referring to the Spanish artist who is credited as being one of the greatest and most influential artists of the twentieth century.
Back to school: Lady Gaga held the show from her old school and spoke to third graders about the holiday
Hot on the hob: The 25-year-old singer invited chef Art Smith onto the show to cook fried turkey and pancakes, her own take on the traditional food of the holiday
Speaking about the compliment Gaga replied: ‘I don’t know if I’m the new Picasso but I’m certainly twisted like his paintings.’
The show which was directed by the singer saw her perform and discuss a catalogue of her hits including Edge of Glory, Born This Way, Hair and her latest track Marry The Night.

She also invited celebrity chef Art Smith onto the show to cook fried turkey and pancakes, her own take on the traditional food of the holiday.
During the interview with Katie Gaga refused to speak out about her personal life.
She explained:'My love life is the only thing I don’t talk about.'
'The day I get married no matter how many helicopters are flying over that chapel they are not getting one picture.'

'I don’t know how artists do it. Talk about their lives and marriages and divorces and boyfriends
It’s sacred in a different way and I would rather reveal it in a poetic way.'
During the interview Katie noted that Gaga was dressed in a demure style compared with her normal look.
Gaga replied: 'People have this misconception or me that I wear provocative clothes all the time, I don't.'

'I love fashion, and Tom Ford sent me this suit.'
At times the singer became emotional and while she was speaking about projects she has pursued with her parents she broken down in tears.
After speaking about her Born This Way Foundation that she started with her mother Gaga also revealed she had opened a restaurant with her father.
When Katie asked where the restaurant was it brought the singer to tears.
When asked why she was crying she replied: 'Because me dad is over there. It was just always my dads dream to own a place and watching my dad open the restaurant of his dreams, that’s wealth.'
