'David Walliams is a real favourite with the nation and Dannii is hugely popular. It’s exciting for her to be coming back,' a source told The Sunday Mirror.
Model and fashion designer Dannii is believed to have told producers her schedule must be 'set in stone' to avoid a repeat of her dramatic exit from the X Factor last year.
The 40-year-old always maintained she left the show because producers couldn't make the dates work around her other commitments.

'She doesn’t want what happened last time to happen again. Being a mum she has to plan ahead. It’s as simple as that – Ethan is the priority.'
The former X Factor judge revealed she quit the ITV show to concentrate on motherhood after producers asked her to shuttle between Australia and the UK to film auditions.

She said: ‘My thyroid stopped working and I had appendicitis.
'Leading up to that I was getting thinner and thinner, and stressing because I didn’t know what it was.
