As you all know I'm not a massive fan of Cheryl Cole. I like her, but only in small doses, and the UK media don't seem to do small doses of Cheryl Cole. That said, I think she looks amazing on the February cover of UK ELLE. Cheryl was photographed for the magazine by Jan Welters, and I think both the newsstand and subscribers covers are beautiful - definitely one of her best magazine covers, no?
I've always liked the fact that ELLE UK use little to no text on their subscribers covers, and it's nice to see minimal text on the newsstand edition too. I guess the "nation's sweetheart" is all they need to sell this issue. But the key selling point for me has to be David Vasiljevic's photos of Chanel Iman. Anne-Marie Curtis dressed her in the key S/S 2011 collections, and it's one of my favourite ELLE editorials in a long time. I adore Chanel Iman so it's lovely to see her in ELLE.
