R&B Singer Brandy did a recent photo shoot for 160 Grams Magazine. She looks haute in the full spread. Check Ms Norwood out:
I LOVE IT! Work it out then, Brandy! In the interview, she discusses her upcoming album. Can't wait. She is sorely missed in the music industry by all of her fans. Glad to hear she will be making a comeback.
And as we anticipate the completion of her album, here is a little something to hold you over. This is a recent performance Brandy did at RnB Live in Los Angeles, CA.
I am "Uber" excited about Sex And the City 2 coming out this week. I can not wait until Thursday to see it. Last night was the official premiere in New York with the entire cast.
The ladies looked fantabulous!
Left to Right: Sarah Jessica Parker in Valentino, Kristen Davis in a vintage Jean Desses gown, Cynthia Nixon in Carolina Herrera, and Kim Cattrall in Naeem Khan
Can we just take a moment to focus on the GORGEOUS yellow Valentino gown Ms SJP, aka Carrie Bradshaw, wore on the "silver" carpet:
This gown is from Valentino's Spring 2010 Couture Collection. She looks absolutely STUNNING!
Hundreds of fans gathered outside Radio Music Hall to catch a glimpse of their favorite celebs and cast members going into the premiere:
I will be attending an event here in Atlanta on Thursday hosted by Tami Reed of "Talking With Tami" :
This limited collection was inspired by the four fashion capitals of the world: London, New York, Milan, and Paris. This bubbly line can be purchased online at Asos.com .
This isn't the first time Coke has made its mark in the fashion world. Karl Lagerfield, designed his own limited edition bottle for Coca Cola Light donning his silhouette in the background:
Keri Hilson is featured in the new issue of Flaunt Magazine doing just that. She is "flaunting" it for the cameras and she looks flawless doing it:
Very Pretty!
To my Followers: I know I've been doing a bad job lately of updating this blog. I haven't totally given up on it. I'm going to try to start doing regular updates really soon. I recently got a new gig and I work later hours, not to mention I have a long commute to and from work now. By the time I get home, I hardly have any energy to do anything. So please bear with me for now until I can get used to this new schedule and get back into the groove of things.
After hearing all the "buzz" on Twitter and Facebook about Ciara's new video "Ride" featuring Ludacris, I finally decided to check it out for myself. Honey, let me tell you....this video was nothing but "Motivation" for me to get my butt in somebody's gym and start working on getting my body right. Ciara's body is so SICK! I was "this close" walking right over to my complex's fitness center. Seriously! Check it out and let me know what you think:
Super Models Chanel Iman and Liya Kebede recently did some gorgeous fashion editorials for Allure and Vogue magazines.
Chanel Iman's "Short Story" for Allure Magazine was shot by famed fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier. Chanel is photographed in different short dresses by Rodarte, Thakoon, Louis Vuitton, and Vera Wang to name a few
Check out the rest of the pictures from the editorial here
Liya Kebede's "Float On" editorial spread for Vogue Magazine was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Pigott. Liya is wearing designs by Chloe, Ralph Lauren and John Galliano
Vogue Italia has recently launched Vogue Black: A new website geared towards Black fashion. It features past and present black icons of the fashion and modeling worlds.
Another high-end fashion designer teams up with Target to create a more "affordable" line. Jean Paul Gaultier for Target won't be available in stores until March 7th, but the entire look-book collection has been released. Here are a few of my favorite looks and pieces:
Today, the fashion world mourns the loss of iconic designer, Alexander McQueen. It is speculated that McQueen may have taken his own life as he was grieving the loss of his mother, who died a week ago. McQueen's designs were adorned by such celebrities as Sara Jessica Parker, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga to name a few. Alexander McQueen was supposed to unveil his new collection at Paris Fashion Week on March 9th. He was only 40 years old. So sad : (
Here is McQueen pictured with Supermodels Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss

R.I.P. Mr McQueen, your contribution to the world of fashion will truly be missed...
Sugar Factory had its Launch Party for former Spice Girl Mel B's Sugar Factory Couture Lollipop Series at Guys and Dolls Lounge in Los Angeles, CA last night.
Couture Lollipops, created by Sugar Factory, come with bejeweled and custom handles. They can be custom made to match your mood or outfit. Couture Lollipops are portable and come with a case to put away and save for later. The Signautre Series Couture Lollipops have become a favorite amongst many fashionable stars like Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears and Rihanna, just to name a few.
Kim Kardashian came out to celebrate with Mel B. Both ladies look fabulous. Love both dresses they are rocking.

Here's Britney Spears with her Couture Lollipop
Rihanna and Katy Perry were spotted back in August sucking on Couture Lollipops.
You can purchase the Signature Series Couture Lollipops at sugarfactory.com for a whopping $25 a "pop" (pun intended). I can't front, they definitely make cute fashion "accessories", but I can't see myself paying $25 for a single sucker. I'd feel like I got "suckered" (pun intended again) after it was gone.
Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child is one of the many celebrities to do an "Alter Ego" photo shoot with Atlanta's famed photographer Derek Blanks. Kelly's alter ego was "Rosie the Riveter" vs Pin-Up girl.
I LOVE it! Kelly is such a fabulous chick. This is probably one of my favorite alter ego shoots to date. Check out more of Derek Blank's work at dblanks.com.
Here's a "behind the scenes" video from the photo shoot:
And here are some other pictures that Kelly took with Mr. Blanks:
